Avispa Asiática (Vespa Velutina)

La vespa velutina, comúnmente conocida como avispa asiática, fue detectada por nuestra zona allá por el año 2.010 en Gipuzkoa, aunque los apicultores de Iparralde ya la sufrían hace meses.

Año tras año, sigue expandiéndose habiendo colonizado ya el norte peninsular Galicia, Cantabria, Euskal Herria, Aragón, Cataluña,… Los expertos no descartan que en un futuro cercano se expanda por toda la península, si bien esta especie se adapta mejor a la climatología templada y húmeda del norte.

Desde entonces, autoridades, apicultores y distintas organizaciones están luchando contra esta avispa, una agresiva depredadora para las abejas melíferas autóctonas.

La avispa asiática proviene de Asia y entró en Europa a finales de 2004, se cree que en un contenedor repleto de alfarería o madera importado de China a través del puerto de Burdeos. La preocupación se ha ido extendiendo desde entonces.

Liztor Asiatikoa (Vespa velutina)

Vespa velutina, liztor asiatikoa bezala ezaguna, gure zonaldetik Gipuzkoan 2.010. urtean detektatua izan zen, nahiz eta hilabete batzuk lehenago Iparraldeko erlezainek jasan.

Urtero, hedatzen jarraitzen du, Ipar penintsula, Galizia, Kantabria, Euskal Herria, Aragoi, Katalunya…. kolonizatu ditu jadanik. Adituek ez dute baztertzen etorkizun hurbil batean penintsula guztia hedatzea, nahiz eta espezie hau Iparraldeko klimatologia epelean eta hezean hobeto moldatu.

Harrezkero, agintariak, erlezainak eta erakunde ezberdinak liztor asiatikoen kontra borrokatzen daude, gure erle eztigileentzat harrapari oldarkorra delako.

Liztor asiatikoak Asian dauka jatorria eta 2.004aren amaieran Europan sartu zen, Burdeos portutik zehar, Txinatik inportatuta, buztingintzaz edo egurrez beteta zegoen kontainer batean sartu zela sinesten da. Harrezkero, ardura handitzen joan da.

Ecological, Organic Gardening

Organic gardening is the one that uses the means of the nature itself. It is the way for the respectful gardening with environment. The problems that have been caused by the abusive use of chemicals, and the bigger consciousness raising by the current society on ecological matters, has cause an increasing demand of organic gardening.

To meet the organic gardening parameters, the first step is to be conscious with ourselves. This gardening is going to provide benefits to us, and, furthermore, we make our contribution on the environment conservation.

So it is easy to understand what is necessary for being an organic gardener:

- Save natural resources: Don´t waste water
- Reuse garden residues

- Avoid the chemicals’ use. Search ecological options instead.

- Think how to favour our flora and fauna.
